The following is an example of a livestock removal certificate that must always accompany the transportation of any animals. This certificate must be issued by the legal owner and must be carried by the legal transporter, whether animals are driven on foot or loaded on a truck.

The responsible and safe transportation of animals is a holistic task that must be well planned and accurately executed. The farmer that intends to convey livestock must develop a policy and procedures to convey livestock, and see to the correct implementation of the policy by all managers, workers, and transport companies.
